Author visits are a fantastic way to inspire children to write their own stories and poetry. Listening to a Poet bring words to life is a slice of magic.
If I can stir the imagination and inspire children to write about the things that matter to them, then my job is done!
Many of my virtual performances are for festivals, libraries, schools and other literary organisations. I have performed poetry in many different countries, yet all from the comfort of my home.
Virtual Performances inspire children to create their own work. Stories, poems, raps and illustrations. It's an amazing feeling to receive emails or tweets from schools with pictures of the work pupils have created after listening, reading and watching my poetry. The poetry itself connects us, and we meet each other halfway, in that creative space.
Sessions are fun, interactive, inspiring, empowering and informative.
